Weather Delays/Cancellations
Sunday Mornings – Local radio and television stations will be notified immediately when worship and Bible study are to be cancelled because of inclement weather. Our church family will also be notified through the One Call phone messaging system, Facebook and Twitter. The decision to cancel will be made in the early morning hours.
Sunday & Wednesday Evenings - Our church family will be notified in the same manner as above, and all activities meeting at the church will be cancelled. The decision to cancel will be made by noon.
Weekday Ministries & Events - When Hardin County Schools are closed all ministries and events at Severns Valley are immediately cancelled.
Offices - Severns Valley offices are closed only when road and parking lot conditions are extremely hazardous. A call to the church office will answer your question on these occasions, and closings will also be posted on Facebook and Twitter.
